"Whoever saves one life – it is as if he had saved all of mankind."
(Qur'an 5:32)

The Situation on the Ground

Floods have torn through Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Families have seen their homes collapse, their crops drown, and loved ones swept away by raging waters. The devastation is overwhelming: thousands of our brothers and sisters are left stranded, cold, and without food. Entire villages have disappeared under water, mosques have been damaged, and livelihoods have been washed away in minutes. This is a test from Allah – and an opportunity for us to respond with mercy.

  • Homes destroyed – families left without shelter and safety.
  • Homes destroyed – families left without shelter and safety.
  • Livelihoods lost – crops, animals, and incomes have vanished overnight.
  • Illness spreading – stagnant water and poor sanitation are fuelling disease outbreaks.
  • Children in distress – hungry, traumatised, and without a sense of security.

For the families affected, each day is a struggle for survival. Mothers are forced to put their children to sleep without a meal. Fathers who once worked the land now stand helpless, unable to provide. The older generation, weakened by age, are left vulnerable in the harsh conditions. This is not just a humanitarian crisis – it is a test of our humanity, our compassion, and our faith.

But with your support, we can bring them hope and lifesaving help.

When disaster strikes, the Prophet ﷺ reminded us that the Ummah is like one body – if one part suffers, the whole body feels the pain. Today, our family in Pakistan is crying out. Allah has blessed us with comfort and security, and now we have the chance to share that blessing with those who have lost everything.

“The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are most consistent, even if they are small.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

This is your opportunity to give sadaqah jariyah – ongoing charity that will continue to benefit you even after you leave this world. Every drop of water, every morsel of food, every tent, every medical kit that reaches a family in need will be a witness for you on the Day of Judgment. Do not let this moment pass without action.

Let us stand together as one Ummah. Let us answer the call of our brothers and sisters in AJK, KP, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Give today, for the sake of Allah, and bring hope where there is despair.
