Ramadan is one of the most important and loved months in the Islamic Calendar where Muslims around the world rejoice, fast, pray and reflect During Ramadan, Muslims around the world join together to celebrate their faith, reflecting on the wisdom of the Holy Quran, fasting during the day and praying at night.

However, it is not just the physical act of fasting that is practiced during Ramadan. Abstaining from sinful or impure thoughts is just as important as not eating between sunrise and sunset – fasting of the body, mind, and spirit provides plentiful opportunity to connect with Allah (SWT) through prayer and giving thanks for the blessings He gives us every day.

Every year, with the help of Allah (SWT), our generous donors feed hundreds of vulnerable families across Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. This year however, the need is even greater - the COVID-19 Pandemic has meant that the livelihoods of most poor families has ceased leaving them with no choice but to turn to charities like The Raza Foundation for help.

As dedicated Muslims, it is our duty especially during the Holy month of Ramadan to support our brothers and sisters and together, we can continue to save lives, give security, hope and dignity where it is most desperately needed.

Our Ramadan family packages include a wide range of essential items to help families enjoy delicious, nutritious iftar meals for the month of Ramadan. We distribute our Feed the Fasting packages across poor and remote areas of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, focusing on people who need the most support. Our aid varies from family packages to communal food parcels which provide iftar to over 100 people worshipping at their local mosque.
